The Prophet's Reward
continued from yesterday
There is yet one more facet of the prophet’s reward that I want to look at and it may well be the most important facet of it. All this talk about not touching the Lord’s anointed sounds good for me doesn’t it. You have to say “yes” don’t you. You don’t want to be guilty on not blessing me.
But there is another side to this that is just as important and that’s that you too are the Lord’s anointed. And I have no more right to assault you as your pastor as you have to assault me.
The primary idea behind the prophet’s reward is that the blessings conferred upon the prophet, by receiving him, are then amassed upon those who receive the prophet. In other words, the blessings that rest upon the prophet, are transferred to those who bless the prophet.
Before you were saved – did you ever pray for someone to be miraculously healed? Yet now that you are saved you have not only license to do that – but you also have an anointing to do it. And that is because when we received Jesus into our lives he began to pray for us and now his blessing becomes ours.
We have the power to pray for people. When we pray for people there lives are blessed just as our lives are blessed because Jesus is praying for us.

Medication: A Merry Heart
School Question
Mother: "Why are you home from school so early?"
Son: "I was the only one who could answer a question."
Mother: "Oh, really? What was the question?"
Son: "Who threw the eraser at the principal?"
